Mahindra XUV: The Indian UV manufacturer is planning to launch a wide range of goods in the country; let’s have a look at the forthcoming Mahindra cars, which will touch showrooms by 2024.
1. Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus
The new Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus is up first. It is scheduled to be released in the next weeks. The UV prototype test mule was recently found unmasked. It is essentially the TUV300 Plus, but with the new nomenclature that the normal TUV300 recently received as well. This will be styled similarly to the normal Bolero Neo. It is a 9-seater vehicle with two seats at the front, a three-seater bench in the middle, and two side-facing jump seats behind the middle row. The same 1.5-litre diesel engine is expected.
2. Mahindra Thar 5-Door
The much-anticipated 5-door Mahindra Thar follows. With greater room, this product will improve the Thar’s functionality. The SUV has already been observed testing, and the company is aggressively testing the 5-door variant across the country in preparation for its sale in 2024. It will have the same design, but new stylistic elements will be added to separate the two. The name could also be modified. There will be RWD and 4WD models available. It will be available with both gasoline and diesel engines.
3. New Gen Mahindra Bolero
The Bolero is one of Mahindra’s best-selling products. It is accessible in several iterations and produces large quantities, particularly in rural areas of the country. The present generation has been on the market for quite some time and is in desperate need of an upgrade. Mahindra is currently developing the next-generation Bolero, which will have major modifications in terms of style, interior, and features. The launch date has not been confirmed, but it is expected to hit showrooms by the end of this year or early next year.
4. New Gen Mahindra XUV500
The Mahindra XUV500 was discontinued following the release of the Mahindra XUV700. However, there is still a significant amount of space beneath the XUV700. The next generation of the XUV500 is being developed by the Indian automaker. It will fight in the segment with the Hyundai Creta and the Kia Seltos. Expect some futuristic design philosophy and some appealing features. This is expected to happen by 2024. We haven’t even seen the test mules for the next-generation XUV500.
5. Mahindra XUV700 Electric
The Mahindra flagship is now being tested with an electric drivetrain. Yes, the Mahindra XUV700 will soon have an electric heart. It will be based on the XUV.e8 concept, which was shown during the carmaker’s UK exhibition. The design is similar to that of the ICE version, but the styling will be unique to the electric version. On a single charge, it will have a range of up to 500 kilometers.
