On November 16, 2023, the State Bank of India published the SBI Clerk Notification 2023 for the position of Junior Associate on its official website, www.sbi.co.in. Starting on November 17, 2023, online applications for SBI Clerk 2023 will be accepted. The Prelims and Mains Exam, an online test, will be used to select the SBI Clerk 2023 candidates. The State Bank of India (SBI) holds a competitive exam called the SBI Clerk Exam to find applicants for the Junior Associate (Customer Support and Sales) position in its numerous branches throughout the nation. The exam is administered every year or in accordance with the bank’s hiring requirements.
With this hiring campaign, 8283 Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) positions in the clerical cadre will be filled. On November 17 and ending on December 7, 2023, the registration process will take place.

Eligibility Criteria
Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by Central Government. Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before December 31, 2023. The age limit should be between 20 years to 28 years of age.

Age Limit
The minimum age for a candidate to apply for the SBI examination is 20 years old but not more than 28 years old, i.e. candidates must be born not earlier than 02.08.1994 and not later than 01.08.2002 (both days inclusive as per the previous year’s notification). Besides this, there is age relaxation relevant to category-wise candidates as per the government rules.

- Citizenship of India
- An Issue Concerning Bhutan or Nepal OR
- A Tibetan refugee who entered India prior to January 1, 1962, with the goal of settling there permanently OR
- A Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, or East African countries of Zaire, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, or Malawi, with the intention of permanent settlement in India OR
- Applicants who fall under categories 2, 3, or 4 need to have an eligibility certificate from the Indian government issued in their favor.

Educational qualification
- The individual must possess a legitimate degree from an accredited university in any field.
- Applicants who possess an integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate ought to confirm the IDD passing date. Individuals who are in their final year or semester of graduation are also eligible to apply provisionally, but if they are chosen on a provisional basis, they will need to provide documentation of their passing the graduation exam.
- Matriculate ex-servicemen who served in the Union’s armed forces for at least 15 years and who have earned the Indian Army Special Certificate of Education or a comparable certificate in the Navy or Air Force are also qualified for the position.
- Computer literacy: To take the SBI Clerk exam, you must be able to operate a computer.

- Step 2: To begin the registration process, enter your individual credentials.
- Step 3: Upon registering successfully, candidates will receive a system-generated temporary registration number and password. It is recommended that candidates store these details for later use.
- Step 4: Follow the instructions in the notification to upload a scanned copy of your signature and photo, then click “Submit.”
- Step 5: Enter your education history and any other pertinent information now.
- Step 6: Before submitting the application, click the preview tab to check and preview the whole thing.
- Step 7: Click the final submit button after you’ve verified, then select the payment tab to finish the payment process.
- Step 8: Upon completion of the application process and payment of the application fee, candidates will receive an email or message on their registered phone number or email address.

Selection process
There are two phases to the competitive SBI Clerk Exam: preliminary and main exams. The test assesses candidates in a number of areas, including reasoning, math ability, and English. Those who make it through both phases are chosen on the basis of their merit.
The online preliminary and main exam as well as the test in the chosen local language are both part of the selection procedure. There will be an online preliminary exam that consists of objective tests worth 100 points. Three sections would comprise this one-hour test: reasoning, numerical ability, and English language.
