The actor expressed his appreciation for the film franchise’s popularity throughout the years and expressed his desire to give it his own spin. He revealed how he knew skepticism would come his way, saying, “I’m hoping to personalize Don by giving it my own spin and interpretation.” It is the passing of the baton of one of Hindi cinema’s most beloved and revered franchises. That significance is not lost on me. As expected, there was some skepticism when the statement was made.”

In the final portion, Ranveer stated that he desires to do complete honor to the role because he is aware of the reputation of the previous senior actors that performed it. The actor stated that such a tremendous opportunity is not wasted on him, “Taking the baton forward in this franchise and continuing the legacy of two of our greatest superstars – the significance of that is not lost on me. So, I will give it my best shot. You will see the very best of me and I will put my best foot forward for Don undoubtedly.”
