Ankita Lokhande’s mother, Vandana Phadnis Lokhande, spoke candidly about her daughter’s ongoing flights from damad after leaving the Bigg Boss house. When Ankita’s mother was questioned in an interview with TellyChakkar about the diva’s jealousy and indignation over Vicky’s relationship with Mannara Chopra, Vicky responded by discussing the link between Ankita and Munawar Faruqui. In response, Vandana said that everyone living in the BB house is only buddies with one another. She also talked about her interactions with the other prisoners at the BB home and how they all took care of her, including preparing meals for her.

During the same interview, the mother of Ankita Lokhande was asked if she would want Ankita or Vicky to win the show. In response, she stated that she simply wants to see the winning trophy—whether it belonged to Vicky or Ankita—on the shelves of her daughter’s house. Vandana Pandis Lokhande was questioned more regarding the cause of her daughter’s frequent depressive mood within the BB house. In response, she said that Ankita gets depressed a lot due of her father’s passing.
Speaking further about the same subject, Vandana said that she had gone inside the house to encourage her child. Ankita’s mother disclosed that her father was hoping to see the diva on Big Brother but was unable to do so. She further mentioned how, following the death of her father, Vicky Jain had been the diva’s biggest supporter.

When Ankita’s mother was questioned in the same interview about why the former frequently used the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s name. In response, she added that Vicky had been Ankita’s emotional support system during a difficult time. Ankita’s mother concurred when asked if Ankita remembered Sushant with teary eyes and remarking that he was really intelligent. She disclosed that Sushant was incredibly intelligent, collected, and peaceful. Speaking more about the late actor, Ankita’s mother stated that she spent seven years with him, indicating that she was familiar with Sushant. Says she, “Bohat dimag ka ladka tha, maine to dekha hain na, me tu rahi hu saat saal uske sath, wo vi bohat dimag ka ladka tha aur saant tha ekdum.”
