Four Naxalites were slain by the Maharashtra police during an encounter in Gadchiroli.
In a police confrontation in Gadchiroli, Maharashtra, four Naxalites lost their lives, sources told ABP News on Tuesday. Following information that a large number of Telangana-based people were holed up in the forests with the intention of committing a significant crime during the Lok Sabha polls, Maharashtra Police’s C-60 Commando and Central Reserve Police Force personnel began conducting operations in the Gadchiroli forest.
After the confrontation, the police found the four dead bodies and took an AK-47 and other weapons.
