On November 13, 2024, Karan Johar posted a humorous video of himself making fun of Maheep Kapoor on his Instagram account. In the video, Karan is behind the camera, and Mahdeep is seated on the couch next to him. When KJo gets you on his couch, we all know what follows. The video opens with Karan making fun of Maheep for her Louis Vuitton purse, to which she responds, “You gave it to me.”
When Karan asks her if she feels intimidated by Shalini Passi’s increasing fame, Maheep gives him a startled look before telling him to stop talking. Karan goes on to clarify that he only wants to hear Maheep’s opinion on the matter. He states,
“Okay, how does it feel that Shalini Passi is getting so much attention on this show? Are you feeling threatened?…..No, I’m just asking you tell us about your inner thoughts.”
