Amidst the recent Island issue, Ashneer Grover and Vir Das playfully poke fun at influencers and celebrities, like as Ranveer Singh, who concealed photos from the Maldives from their Instagram accounts in order to promote Lakshadweep.
Indians have launched a boycott campaign against the Maldives as a result of their politicians’ derogatory remarks on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The ministers were authorized to be suspended by the Maldives, but there is little indication that the dispute would be settled anytime soon. Modi is encouraging travel to Indian islands in the middle of this upheaval. Celebrities from B-town and social media influencers have all endorsed Island tourism to Lakshadweep in line with PM Modi’s vision.
The actor Ranveer Singh used his prior Twitter account, X, to promote travel to Lakshadweep in India. But the photo he uploaded was of the Maldives. When other users quickly pointed out his error, Ranveer immediately removed the post. Ashneer Grover and Vir Das have now made fun of the actor for the same thing.

Vir Das took to his X account to congratulate Lakshadweep for receiving much-deserved attention while also making a subtle jab at Indian influencers and celebs. He made fun of the celebrities who went two weeks without eating carbohydrates and enjoyed the most amazing Maldivian vacation, but who are now afraid to share their photos for fear of being trolling. Ashneer Grover made fun of a movie star (Ranveer Singh) for his error by reposting the same tweet.
A movie star who is rarely on Twitter but is currently copying and pasting the same message everywhere was the target of a cunning joke by Ashneer Grover. He continued by saying that the famous person is probably hiding his earlier Instagram tales from the Maldives and has no idea where Lakshadweep is.

Ranveer faced backlash from online users who mocked him for his mistake. They make fun of Ranveer in Ashneer’s comment area. Some criticize the Bollywood industry as a whole, while others thank Aahneer for exposing the B-town celebrities to reality. Some even assert that Ashneer must have traveled to the Maldives as well.
