Principal Role and Responsibilities
- Business Development: Cultivate and nurture business relationships with Commercial Banking customers in the region to elevate the Bank’s top line, fee income, and net interest income.
- Target Achievement: Meet and exceed targets set for individual products, including Working Capital (WC), Bank Guarantee (BG), Letter of Credit (LC), Over Draft (OD), Demand Overdraft (DOD), Trade Forex, TOD, etc.
- Customer Relations: Establish and fortify relations with key customers, augmenting credit relationships, and fostering sustained business growth.
- Product Penetration: Identify and convert potential customers by offering tailored products, thereby enhancing product penetration in the market.
- Cross-Selling: Deepen existing relationships by cross-selling liability and asset products to both new and existing customers.
- Portfolio Management: Maintain a robust portfolio, diligently monitoring delinquency rates to ensure optimal limit utilization by clients.
- Credit Process: Actively participate in the sanctioning process, including Letters of Credit (LCC), and collaborate with various departments to ensure the smooth delivery of credit and other banking services.
- Compliance and Audits: Ensure stringent compliance with due processes and guidelines, meeting internal and external audit-related deliverables as per prescribed norms.
- Leadership and Motivation: Create a performance-oriented environment that fosters high employee motivation and productivity.
- Staffing and Training: Oversee that all staffing requirements for the center are met and ensure adequate training is provided to staff on the bank’s products, sales processes, and various policies.
