Speaking at the World Government’s Summit 2024 recently, Shah Rukh Khan shared an intriguing anecdote about adhering to a specific protocol before the release of his film. The actor said that because his movies come out on Fridays, he always takes a two-hour bath on Thursday using pricey bath oils. To quote him, “On Thursday evenings, because our films release on Fridays, at home in Mumbai, I rinse myself with a 2-hour bath and rinse myself of the work I have done. It’s a ritual.”

More along these lines, Shah Rukh Khan revealed how, before to the premiere of his movie, he begins to feel unclear about everything in his life. Furthermore, he stated that he was being reticent regarding the project he has been working on’s exact destiny, as it might end up being a hit or a failure. He declared,
“I always try to analyse why do I do what I do. Why do I wake up in the morning and start doing it all over again? The work that I do, making films, the result happens very suddenly. You think you have made the best of the film and the world will like it but you wake up on a Friday morning and realise it is the biggest flop of your career. Or sometimes you don’t like a film and it becomes the biggest hit of your career.”

A previous “AskSRK” session on Shah Rukh Khan’s social media page saw him share a heartfelt story about his wife, Gauri Khan. For those who don’t know, the pair, who have been married for a long time, first met at a dance party and fell in love right away. The actor disclosed on social media what he got his wife Gauri for their first Valentine’s Day together, and it was just a pair of plastic pink earrings.
SRK already disclosed the reason behind his four-year hiatus
The actor made the decision to take a break in 2018 following the box office disaster of his film Zero. The actor did not find popularity and fame again until 2023, when his films Jawan and Pathan were released. In a previous interview, SRK discussed the initial rationale behind his decision to take a vacation with a prominent daily. To quote him,
“It’s new because I have been working for 33 years and took such a big gap. Normally, you get a little nervous and you feel, ‘I hope I’ve got the film right.’ Before that, there were some of my films that didn’t do well, and so I thought I’m not making good films. But I think more than my films, there was love for Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki from the people.”
