ICAI collaborates with CBSE to promote financial literacy : The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is set to forge a significant partnership with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), aiming to introduce financial literacy and independence to school students. Aniket S Talati, the President of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, made this announcement during the National Education Summit on Commerce & Accountancy (NES-CA) held in New Delhi on January 22 and 23. The collaboration includes the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between ICAI and CBSE on February 8, with the objective of providing career counseling in CBSE schools and developing course content for students.

To achieve this, ICAI will conduct career counseling sessions in CBSE-affiliated schools, shedding light on the significance of pursuing a professional course in chartered accountancy.
In addition to career counseling, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India will develop course content for CBSE schools, comprising modules and videos. The goal is to enhance financial literacy among students through comprehensive study material titled “Aarambh: A Step Towards Financial Independence,” which was officially launched during the NES-CA 2024 event.
