For Assistant Professor Grade I :
- With the exception of experience obtained while pursuing a PhD, the candidate must have a minimum of three years of post-PhD teaching, research, or professional experience.
- The candidate should have provided evidence of their research abilities through conferences, publications in reputable journals, and patents.
For Assistant Professor Grade II :
- The candidate needs to have Direct recruitment is open to candidates with less than three years of post-PhD industrial, research, or teaching experience for the Assistant Professor Grade II post.
For Assistant Professor :
- A minimum of six years of teaching, research, or professional experience are required of the applicant, three of which must have been spent in an industry or research organization at the rank of Assistant Professor Grade I, Senior Scientific Officer, or Senior Engineer.
- Strong track records of sponsored research, research guidance, publications in reputable journals and conferences, patents, etc. are expected of the applicants.
For Professor :
- The candidate must have a minimum of ten years of experience in teaching, research, and professional work, four of which must have been spent at the associate professor level in an academic institution or in a role similar in a research organization or business.
- The candidate should have a proven track record of sponsored research, publications in reputable journals and conferences, patents, laboratory/course development, and other acknowledged relevant professional activities. They should also have led research in a particular area of specialization in terms of guiding Ph.D. students.
Selection Process
