Qualification

Board.
(ii) Must be able to the wash military/Civilian clothes
thoroughly well.
Chowkidar :
Essential : Matriculation passor equivalent from
recognized Board.
Desirable : Conversant with the duties of the respective
trades with one year’s experience in the trade.
Age Limit
According to the official Indian Army Recruitment 2023 announcement, the following age limit applies to the designated post.
(i) For UR/Gen candidates, the age limit for the Indian Army Recruitment 2023 is 18 to 25 years.
(ii) Age Relaxation : There are several age relaxation provisions in place:
- For ST (Scheduled Tribe) candidates, there is a relaxation of up to five years in the age limit.
- For OBC (Other Backward Classes) candidates who do not fall under the Creamy Layer category, there is a relaxation of up to three years.
- Government servants may also be eligible for age relaxation, up to 35 years, as per the orders and instructions issued by the Central Government.
- Age relaxation will only be applied if candidates can produce valid certificates of their caste/category.
- ST and OBC candidates who apply for unreserved posts will not be given age and other concessions intended for ST and OBC candidates.
Pay Scale :
The official Indian Army Recruitment 2023 announcement states that those chosen for the CSBO position will be paid up to Rs. 21700 + allowances each month, while those applying for the other positions will be paid between Rs. 18000 and Rs. 63200.

Selection Process
Applying for Indian Army Recruitment 2023 is required. Candidates will only be chosen based on merit, which is assessed by their performance on the 100-point written exam. Candidates who make the shortlist will also need to pass a qualifying skill test, which does not award specific marks, in addition to the written exam:
(a) Written Test :
The written Test will comprise of Four parts as given below :-

- Paper -III General English (Objective Multiple Choice Type)
- Paper -IV Numerical Aptitude (Objective Multiple Choice Type)
Note : The question paper will be bilingual i.e. English and Hindi. However, the question of
English Language subject will be in English only. No extra weightage will be given for
additional/ extra /higher qualification for recruitment.
(b) Skill Test :
Skill test will be conducted to check candidate’s proficiency in
handling exchange operation and this will be conducted for qualifying purpose only.
(c) In Case Of large Applications :
If the number of applications received in response to the advertisement are
large and it is not convenient or possible to arrange the examination for all the
candidates, the selection board reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates to a
reasonable limit on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed minimum
essential qualification i.e Matric or equivalent.
How To Apply
As per the official notification of Indian Army Recruitment 2023, all interested and willing candidates are required to submit their completed application in the prescribed format to Headquarters Madhya Bharat Area (Signals), PIN – 901124, along with all necessary documents, within a 30-day period from the date of notification release.
