Lloyd Enterprises was the highest gainer on the list, with a 44% increase. The company’s stock rose to Rs 38.46 on November 7 from Rs 7.12 on March 31. In H1FY24, the company’s net profit increased by 233% year on year to Rs 36.80.

It was followed by Rajoo Engineers (up 401%) and Avantel (up 288%). Mercury EV-Tech, Authum Investment & Infrastructure, RMC Switchgears, Jupiter Wagons, HBL Power Systems, Empower India, Oriental Rail Infrastructure, and Loyal Equipments all saw gains of 200 to 300 percent in the current fiscal year. The BSE Sensex and the BSE SmallCap index, on the other hand, have gained 10% and 41%, respectively, since March 31.
Santosh Meena, Head of Research at Swastika Investmart, commented on the outperformance of railway stocks, saying that the PSU sector, notably in the railway and defense sectors, is currently undergoing a big re-evaluation. “Government capex initiatives and the PLI scheme, aimed at bolstering the manufacturing sector, have been catalysts for this upward trend in railway stocks.” Surprisingly, these sectors had been largely ignored by the market for decades, resulting in extremely attractive values.”

He went on to say that the railway sector currently appears to be reflecting its genuine value as a result of current valuations and structural adjustments. DroneAcharya Aerial Innovations increased consolidated gross sales by 998 percent year on year and net profit by 2,948.50 percent year on year in FY24. Small-cap financial businesses such as Fino Payments Bank, Infibeam Avenues, and Star Housing Finance, on the other hand, reported gross sales growth of between 50% and 100% in H1FY24.
