Prominent Indian cricketer Ishant Sharma and his spouse Pratima Singh made an announcement on the birth of their daughter.
One of the most well-known players for the Indian cricket team is Ishant Sharma. The gifted right-arm fast-medium bowler joined the Indian cricket squad when he was just eighteen years old, and he went on to become the 2020 Arjuna Award winner. In his private life, Ishant is wed to Pratima Singh, a professional basketball player at the national level. And as they started a new chapter together, the couple just shared the best news of their life.
Pratima Singh and Ishant Sharma are blessed with a daughter
On November 3, 2023, Ishant Sharma shared a sweet little image on his Instagram account in a joint post with his wife, Pratima Singh. The couple declared that with the birth of their daughter, they onto their parenthood journey. The photo note included a little baby bell with the words “It’s a baby girl” written in pink typeface above it. There was also a remark on the photo, which said, “A new baby marks the beginnings of all things- wonder, hope and a beautiful dream of possibilities. Pratima and I are delighted to announce the arrival of our baby girl.”
In addition, the delighted parents wrote a combined comment for the photo in which they stated how glad they were to have a new family member. Referring to the advent of their daughter as “dreams wrapped in pink,” the successful player-duo wrote, A new baby girl, a world of wonder, hope, and dreams all wrapped in pink. We’re overjoyed to introduce the newest member of our family.

When Pratima and Ishant gathered their loved ones for a lavish baby shower ceremony
Pratima Singh posted a video on her Instagram account on September 26, 2023, which showed the couple’s many moments during their lavish baby shower. We were able to see glimpses of the gorgeous event décor while the video played, which included vibrant balloons and soft lighting. Pratima, who was then expecting her first child, wore a black dress with an embroidered net coverall that was the color of white on the auspicious day. Wearing a “Mommy-to-be” sash, she left her hair loose and wore minimum makeup. Conversely, Ishant matched his wifey in grey slacks and a white shirt.
The couple can be seen cutting a white, two-tiered cake in multiple other video footage while posing with their loved ones. In addition, there were adorable baby-themed treats on the table that we were able to have a peak of, and those peeks were too lovely to miss. In addition to the video, Pratima wrote a lengthy statement thanking her friends for planning a beautiful baby shower. A passage from it is as follows, This date has become a very very Special day of my life. Thank you akanksha for organising this wonderful surprise baby shower for me. I don’t know how you and ishant managed to keep it a surprise from me.

Ishant began playing cricket at the age of 14. In 2006, at the age of 18, he made his Ranji Trophy debut. After a year, he made his debut for the national squad thanks to his beautiful high-arm action and his influence on the Delhi domestic team. He took his 250th wicket in Test cricket in under ten years.
Regarding his Twenty20 career, Ishant has done a dismal job with the few opportunities that have been presented to him. Ishant has amassed 84 wickets while participating in 15 IPL editions for six different teams. The Delhi lad has made his way back to his native field, and we can’t wait for him to dominate once more!
