Krushna Abhishek’s wife, Kashmera Shah, recently revealed that they invited their ‘Chi Chi Mama’ to Arti Singh’s wedding. She called Govinda as her father-in-law.
Arti Singh, a television actress famous for her roles in Hindi serials such as Thoda Hai Bas Thode Ki Zaroorat Hai, Parichay, and Waaris, She will tie knot with Dipak Chauhan on April 25, 2024, at the ISKCON Temple. Her brother, Krushna Abhishek, and sister-in-law, Kashmera Shah, have taken all the responsibility to make Arti’s special day even more memorable. Kashmera, Arti’s ‘bhabhi’, spoke out ahead of her wedding about inviting their ‘Chi Chi mama’, Govinda, to attend the wedding.
Kashmera Shah will touch Govinda’s feet at Arti’s wedding
Kashmera told at Pinkvilla, that they will invite the Bollywood superstar to Arti’s wedding. She went on to say that they would do it with respect, and touch Govinda’s feet because he seems comparable to her father-in-law. Kashmera stated that their uncle may have an issue with her and her husband, Krushna, but Arti has nothing to do with their situation. In her words, “Well, we are looking forward to welcoming him at the wedding. We will very respectfully do so. As the tradition goes, I will touch his feet. After all, he is at my father-in-law’s place and I would pay him my respects. He might have a problem with Krushna and me but Arti has nothing to do with the same and thus we feel he would attend her wedding.”

Govinda’s contoversy with Krushna Abhishek and Kashmera Shah
However, it is noticed that neither Govinda nor anyone from his family has been spotted in the Arti pre-wedding festivities till now. For those who are unaware, seven years ago, Krushna and Kashmera had an ssue with Govinda and his family. It all started when the actor appeared on The Kapil Sharma Show to promote his film Jagga Jasoos but did not appear on Krushna’s show, Comedy Nights Live.
The latter showed his disappointment in the media, and Govinda revaeled about it, stating that he was unhappy since his nephew said ‘Mama rakha hai’ on his show. Kashmera added fuel to the fire by calling Govinda and his wife, Sunita, as ‘people who dance for money’ in a social media post.
