Suzuki handed us a world-first in the shape of the 5-door version of the Jimny, which was introduced earlier this year, after keeping India waiting for a long time for a Jimny. The Jimny 5-door has now made its debut in South Africa. This automobile is an export from India. A 5-door Jimny is wanted in the Japanese market as well, according to company executives.

Additionally, a military green tint that is absent from the Indian edition makes its appearance. And, dare we say it, besides looking nice, it also resembles the vehicles used by the Indian army. The Jimny 5-door is now available in India in six colors: white, red, black, navy blue, grey, and a yellow that can seem green in certain lighting circumstances. the new tint of green.
The Jimny 5-door model supplied here is similar to the one sold in India save from the additional colors. The same slats, squared wheel arches, boxy dimensions, and spare wheel placed on the tailgate are included. Inside, there is a 9.0-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, temperature control, and cruise control. Six airbags, a rear camera, and ISOFIX child seat attachments are included in the safety equipment.
The engine has not altered at all. It thus has the same 1.5-liter K15B engine, which produces 101 horsepower and 134 pound-feet of peak torque. The 4WD system’s low range transfer case also contributes to the vehicle’s off-roading capabilities. The cost of the India-specific model ranges from Rs. 12.74 to Rs. 15.05 lakh (ex-showroom India). It serves as an alternative to the Mahindra Thar and the Force Gurkha.
