Murthy has given his four-month-old grandson, Ekagrah Rohan Murthy, shares worth more than Rs. 240 crore. The businessman’s action likely created Ekagrah India’s youngest millionaire. According to sources, Ekagrah has acquired a total of 15 lakh shares, or 0.04% stake in India’s second-largest IT company. This acquisition reduced Murthy’s stake in Infosys from 0.40 percent to 0.36 percent, a loss of 1.51 crore shares. The investigation also stated that the transaction was off-market.
