On July 13, 2024, the Ambani family celebrated Shubh Aashirwad for the newlyweds. The celebration was attended by India’s honorable Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, who performed the Sanatani rite for the couple, adding to the joyful atmosphere and emphasizing the cultural significance of the event.

Sanatani rites are observed at several periods in one’s social life, including birth, Annaprashana, Upanayana, marriage, and death. Sanatani rituals include puja, yagya, havan, and other practices based on the age-old Vedas and texts. The Acharyas, who are exceptionally competent in era enforcement (Yug Pravartan), sing mantras in Sanskrit while worshipping and dedicated Gods and Goddesses.
Sanatani rituals might be part of one’s daily routine or an unusual occurrence. They are a multidisciplinary practice that assists individuals in pursuing a multipolar path from a religious and spiritual perspective. This ceremony may include religious practices such as yagya, fasting, worship, sadhana, and other religious activities.

Radhika Merchant wore a colorful, hand-embroidered lehenga for Shubh Aashirwad
Radhika wore a bright pink hand-painted lehenga to the Shubh Aashirwad event. Three designers collaborated on the lehenga: Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, as well as contemporary Indian artist and sculptor Jayasri Burman. It was hand stitched with genuine gold zardozi. Radhika teamed it with a hand-embroidered resham blouse.
