The Jonas Brothers are presently on their Five Albums national tour. one evening. a global tour
The next performer to be struck by anything onstage won’t be Nick Jonas.
Nick Jonas, 30, pleaded with fans to stop throwing objects onstage in a video taken at the Jonas Brothers concert on Monday in Sacramento, California, and posted to social media by a concertgoer.
As what appear to be bracelets are thrown at him onstage, Jonas can be seen grooving out to their song “Rollercoaster” in the Tik Tok video. Jonas tries to grab a few of them before grinning, shaking his head, and telling the crowd to “stop” before continuing to perform the song.
It has become dangerously popular to throw objects at performers and onstage. Numerous celebrities have spoken out about fans throwing objects at them when they perform throughout the summer. Both Bebe Rexha and Harry Styles have experienced object injuries while touring Europe. Bebe Rexha was critically harmed in New York City when a fan threw a cell phone in her face (he was jailed).
On their five albums, The Jonas Brothers have appeared. one evening. They began their World Tour in August at Yankee Stadium in New York City’s Bronx.
The Jonas Brothers’ most recent album, The Album, which was released in May, as well as earlier successes like 2019’s Happiness Begins and 2008’s A Little Bit Longer, are all represented on their most recent tour.
“It’s our most ambitious show we’ve ever put on, in the sense that building out five albums in one night was a challenge that I don’t think we fully understood after we’d already put it on sale,” said Nick to PEOPLE before to the tour. However, it’s fantastic to reflect on the path that led to the present time.
Joe, 33, who recently filed for divorce wife Sophie Turner, made light of the situation by saying, “We said, let’s make it really easy on ourselves and we should do the first show at one of the biggest venues we’re playing on this tour.”

He continued, “[But] I think we built a beautiful show for people to come see.”
Given that he recorded the band’s first albums while he was still a youngster, Nick Jonas also told PEOPLE that it’s been nice to revisit the music of his youth with an older, more mature voice.
While recording these albums, he noted, “going through voice changes added an unnecessary level of grit to some of the vocal delivery.” It’s enjoyable to sing songs with a more sophisticated and meaningful vocal delivery now that we’ve become used to our adult voices, in my opinion.
Many social media users commended the New Jersey native for his handling of the circumstance. Some others even remarked on how, when reprimanding the fans, he adopted a “dad-like” manner.
“That man reprimanded the throng as if they were all his daughters. One person said, “I’d be so TERRIFIED. Another person added, “That second ‘stop’ gesture was so dad of him.” A third person commented, “He did that so well,” adding, “Gets his point across but didn’t appear nasty. Dad likes that, then.
Nick Jonas has already experienced having objects hurled at him while on the brothers’ 2023 tour, which got underway earlier this summer. The singer of “Chains” was struck in the chest with what seemed to be a wrist band during their August 19 show in Toronto. Nick Jonas shook his head “no” to the fan even though there was no harm done before continuing his performance.
Musicians have seen this harmful trend worsen over the past year. Bebe Rexha was one of the most well-known stars, and she was injured when a concertgoer threw their cell phone at her in June while she was performing in New York City, causing an eye injury. The 34-year-old singer of “I’m Good (Blue)” was assaulted and fell to the floor. The accused was charged with two counts of third-degree assault, one offense of second-degree harassment, one crime of second-degree aggravated harassment, and one case of third-degree attempted assault.
