Qualification required
To be eligible to apply for OHPC Recruitment 2023, applicants must meet the following requirements:
For Junior Manager (Electrical):
- The candidates must possess a Supervisor Certificate of Competency from ELBO, Odisha/NPC, Govt. of India, as well as matriculation with an ITI in the Electrician, Wireman, or Lineman Trade and ten years of experience in NE-4 grade and above. OR
- Candidates should possess an electrical engineering diploma or higher degree, along with eight years of experience in NE-4 grade and above.
For Junior Manager (Mechanical):
- The candidates must possess a Supervisor certificate of competency from the NPC, Government of India, as well as a Matric with an ITI in the fitter trade and ten (10) years of experience in NE-4 grade and above. OR
- The candidates must possess a mechanical engineering diploma or higher degree, as well as eight years of experience in NE-4 grade and above.
For Junior Manager (Finance):
- The candidates ought to have graduated with at least 15 years of NE-5 and higher experience. OR
- After graduation, the candidates ought to have accumulated ten years of NE-5 and higher experience. OR
- The candidates ought to have earned a P.G. or diploma in commerce and have eight years of NE-5 or higher experience. OR
- Candidates should have 08 years of experience in NE-5 and above and hold a CA (Inter) or ICWAI (Inter).
For Junior Manager (HR):
- The ideal candidates would be HSC graduates with at least 15 years of NE-5 experience. OR
- After graduation, the candidates ought to have accumulated ten years of NE-5 and higher experience. OR
- The candidates should have eight years of experience in NE-5 and above and a one-year P.G. diploma in HRM, personnel management, or labor laws from any university or accredited institute (AICTC).
Pay scale
Those who are chosen for the position will be paid between Rs. 44900 and Rs. 142400 per month, as stated in the official OHPC Recruitment 2023 announcement.
Selection procedure
According to the official OHPC Recruitment 2023 announcement, a written exam and an interview will be used to determine which candidates are chosen. In Bhubaneswar, the written exam will be administered via computer-based testing (CBT). There will be 100 marks available for the CBT, which will take two hours to complete. Twenty of the 100 questions will focus on general knowledge about hydropower plants and the main business operations of OHPC, and the remaining 80 will test subject knowledge in the relevant trade or discipline. For each incorrect response, a mark deduction of 0.20 will be applied. We will notify you later on the day and location of the in-person interview.
