The deeply in love pair is reportedly getting married on September 23, 2023, in Udaipur. Additionally, on September 19, 2023, an ardaas ritual will kick off their entire dhamal of pre-wedding celebrations. Raghav and Parineeti organized a Sufi night following the religious event.
The Hindustan Times reported that, according to a source close to Parineeti and Raghav, their wedding festivities officially began with the ardaas ritual. The actress and her loved ones reportedly cried during the ceremony. The insider mentioned that the couple is thrilled about the next stage of their relationship and said, Here were happy tears rolling down the cheeks of everyone associated with Parineeti. When it comes to the bride and groom, they are really happy about entering this new phase, and excited to share the moment with everyone close to them.
Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha’s ardaas ceremony
On September 20, 2023, a number of images from Raghav and Parineeti’s ardaas ceremony that had been leaked online became viral. The soon-to-be-married couple was seen in photos praying at the Gurudwara while wearing matching pink outfits. Parineeti wore an embroidered light pink sharara, and Raghav looked sharp in a matching-hued kurta pajama that he paired with a Nehru jacket.
At his Sufi night, Raghav danced for several hours
The Hindustan Times reported that a source close to Parineeti and Raghav said that their Sufi night was a success. Raghav, who is a shy person, was said to have danced for hours at the event, according to the source. The soon-to-be married couple reportedly danced to music while spending time with their family and visitors.
Parineeti and Raghav had spent the last two weeks in Delhi, according to the report. The source also said that despite all the planning, there were a lot of jitters at their first pre-wedding ceremony. The cousin of Parineeti, Priyanka, has not yet arrived in India for the wedding festivities. Along with her daughter Malti and singer-husband Nick Jonas, she is currently residing in the US.
A close relative of Raghav, designer Pawan Sachdeva, also attended the Sufi night. At the pre-wedding event, former cricketer Harbhajan Singh was also there. Parineeti and Raghav attended Kirtan and Ardas at a Gurudwara in New Delhi before the musical night in order to ask for blessings.
On May 13, the pair got engaged in Delhi. Several politicians, including former finance minister P Chidambaram, Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann, and Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray, were present at the star-studded ceremony. On September 23 and 24, in front of their loved ones and friends, they will now exchange their vows during a two-day gala in Udaipur.
