Elvis and Priscilla Presley, Hollywood’s ‘it’ pair, divorced in 1973. And, most recently, the film ‘Priscilla’ presented the late singer as a “predator” and “manipulator,” which his daughter despised.
Elvis Presley, the “King of Rock and Roll,” had one of the most legendary love tales with his wife, Priscilla Presley. The couple had a ten-year age difference, and Priscilla was even dubbed a “child bride” because she fell in love with Elvis at the age of 14 and married him at the age of 21. Elvis was 32 at the time, and the couple’s passion was taking Hollywood by storm.
Lisa, Elvis and Priscilla’s daughter, was born a year after their marriage in 1968. The pair was together for six years before splitting up due to their growing personal troubles and fears. Priscilla, a film recounting the love story of Hollywood’s ‘it’ pair, was just released in the west.

Lisa, Elvis and Priscilla’s late daughter, expressed reservations about the film, Priscilla
On October 27, 2023, Priscilla, a film starring Jacob Elordi and Cailee Spaeny, was released in theaters. The film chronicles Elvis and Priscilla Presley’s heartbreaking love story. Elvis’ daughter, Lisa, had concerns with the picture while it was in its early stages since it represented her father as someone he is not. Lisa went on to say, My father only comes across as a predator and manipulative. As his daughter, I don’t read this and see any of my father in this character. I don’t read this and see my mother’s perspective of my father.
Even though her mother, Priscilla, had no objections to the film’s release, Lisa did. However, Sofia Coppola, the film’s director, convinced Lisa that she would enjoy the final cut of the film. Unfortunately, Lisa died in January 2023 of a heart attack and will never watch the finished film.
