The winner of the 10-team competition in the 13th ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup will take home US$4 million in addition to the trophy on November 19 at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium.The losing semi-finalists will each receive $800,000 from the $10 million prize pool, while the runners-up will receive $2 million. Starting on October 5, 48 matches will be contested at 10 different locations.
Prizes will be awarded for each league match won throughout the largest Cricket World Cup history. The top four teams will advance to the semifinals after each team plays the other once in a round-robin style.Each group stage match winner will receive US$40,000, and the six teams who do not advance to the semifinals will each receive US$100,000.
