Box office collection for ‘Pushpa 2 The Rule’ on day 8: With such a strong box office performance, Pushpa 2 is only slightly behind Deepika Padukone-Amitabh Bachchan-Prabhas’ Kalki 2098 AD, which earned Rs 1,200 crore globally.
Pushpa 2: The Rule is already the second highest-grossing Indian film of the year after only a week in theaters. Furthermore, it is just slightly behind the highest-grossing film, Kalki 2898 AD, and is expected to beat it within a day or two.
According to trade expert Manobala Vijayabalan, Pushpa 2, starring Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, and Jagapathi Babu, grossed Rs 1032 crore worldwide in seven days of release after debuting at a record-breaking Rs 282.91 crore. Pushpa 2 grossed Rs 687 crore in India as of Wednesday, with Rs 398.1 crore coming from Hindi shows and Rs 232.75 crore from Telugu programs.

Pushpa 2 Box Office collection
With such a strong movie office performance, Pushpa 2 is only slightly behind Deepika Padukone-Amitabh Bachchan-Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD, which grossed Rs 1,200 crore globally. Pushpa 2: The Rule and Kalki 2898 AD are the only two films to have earned more than Rs 1,000 crore at the box office this year. The third-highest earning film of the year is Stree 2: Sarkate Ka Aatank, starring Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, and Pankaj Tripathi, which earned Rs 874.58 crore.
Next in line are the Vijay-starring film The Greatest of All Time, which brought in Rs 456 crore at the box office, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, which brought in Rs 421 crore and starred Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, and Triptii Dimri, and the multi-starrer Singham. Starring Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Arjun Kapoor once more, the film earned Rs 389.64 crore; Devara: Part 1 (starring Jr. NTR, Saif Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, and Prakash Raj) made Rs 380 crore; Hanu-Man earned Rs 350 crore; the film Fighter, starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, brought in Rs 344.46 crore; and Amaran, starring Sivakarthikeyan, Sai Pallavi, and Rahul Bose, brought in Rs 332 crore.
The fastest Indian movie to reach the Rs 1,000 crore milestone is Pushpa 2, starring Allu Arjun. It took 10 days for Baahubali 2: The Conclusion to reach the Rs 1000-crore milestone, 16 days for Kalki 2898 AD, KGF: Chapter 2, and RRR, 18 days for Jawan, and 27 days for Pathaan.
