Rani Mukerji and Kareena Kapoor Khan both attended the children’s Taekwondo competition, but it was Taimur Ali Khan who made his mother extremely proud.
Taimur Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan’s oldest son, enjoys Taekwondo and has competed in various tournaments since he was a child. Kareena Kapoor Khan and Rani Mukerji recently appeared at a Kids’ Taekwondo competition at Kiran’s Taekwondo Academy, and their photos have gone popular on the internet. Taimur Ali Khan, on the other hand, made his mother proud by winning a gold medal.
Taimur Ali Khan earned a gold medal, and Kareena Kapoor Khan was in awe of him
More than any Filmfare award, Kareena Kapoor Khan seemed to have felt enormous satisfaction when she saw her son, Taimur Ali Khan, wearing his gold medal in the Taekwondo tournament. Kareena couldn’t stop smiling as she posed with Taimur, who proudly displayed his gold medal. In another photo, Rani Mukerji was seen speaking with Karan Johar’s son, Yash Johar, who also received a medal.
Taimur Ali Khan won the yellow belt
Taimur Ali Khan earned his yellow belt in Taekwondo last year. Kareena headed to Instagram and posted a picture of her kid, Taimur, on her IG stories. In the photo, Taimur can be seen striking a Taekwondo position with his friends. The youngster looked dashing in a white outfit with a yellow belt. Kareena had written on top of it, “Go, go, go!”
When Kareena Kapoor Khan discussed the widespread outrage directed at them for naming their kid Taimur,
Kareena Kapoor Khan addressed the naming issue surrounding her son, Taimur, in an interview with The Indian Express. People on social media mocked the then-newborn baby and his parents, Kareena and Saif, for naming him ‘Taimur’. Kareena was crying in the hospital room when she found out because her son was being attacked.
Kareena recalled the incident and stated that no mother or child should have to go through that. She went on to say that she had no idea why they were attacked because they never intended to harm anyone. Kareena went on to say that her son’s name meant “iron man,” and she liked the way it sounded. Kareena revealed that Taimur was her husband, Saif’s, first buddy, and that’s how they met. She stated, “When we came up with the name… Saif actually said… He grew up with a neighbour friend, and he always really liked his name and his name was Taimur, so he said, ‘You know, if I have a son, he was my first friend. I’d like to name him Taimur’, and that’s exactly how Taimur was named, because he was Saif’s first friend when he was living in town here.”
Kareena stated that the name had nothing to do with any historical figure. She went on to say that she was taken aback when it was blown out of proportion. She was reported to have said, “It has no sort of take or resemblance to anything or anyone. It just went like… it’s not even like.. it’s not even the same name. I got into a bit of a shock when this happened. But luckily, I think because of us being strong and resilient and silent, I think it just kind of died down. He was the most photographed child for what reason I have no idea.”
We adore Kareena and Taimur’s photos!
