Carlo Ancelotti had cause for concern after Los Blancos’ 1-0 triumph over Celta Vigo, despite Real Madrid’s third straight victory.
- Vinicius suffered injury against Celta Vigo
- To undergo scans today
- Likely to be out for a month
In the 13th minute, Vinicius Jr. appeared to suffer a leg injury but initially attempted to play on. After only 18 minutes against Celta Vigo, he eventually left the game. Vinicius, on the other hand, was unable to continue and has now been added to the growing list of injuries for the Santiago Bernabeu team. His injury is expected to keep him out for around a month, according to The Athletic, and he is scheduled for tests today.
Vincius first attempted to play through his injury, which may be used to corroborate Ancelotti’s initial assertion that he didn’t think it was too bad. Ancelotti also initially minimised the severity of the injury. However, it appears that the Brazilian international will now miss a few weeks of play.
According to a Real Madrid release, Vini Jr. has been identified as having a right biceps femoris injury after testing by the Real Madrid Medical Services. His development will be watched.
The winger will miss the opening Champions League encounter as well as La Liga contests against Getafe, Real Sociedad, and Atlético Madrid. Additionally, he will be made to leave the Brazil team for the September international break.
