Chahat Paul, our bride of the week, married the man of her dreams, Rahul Joseph, in a romantic wedding ceremony in Goa. For their wedding ceremony, the couple chose this lovely open venue decked with pastel-hued flowy drapes and flowers. However, it was the bride’s attire that drew our attention. The bride chose a crimson lehenga from the acclaimed designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee for her wedding day. Her lehenga was embellished with beautiful flower motifs, zari embroidery, and sequins.
The bride wore her lehenga with a matching V-neck top that was embellished with zari embroidery, sitara, and lace work. She accessorized her look with two dupattas, one pinned over her shoulder and the other draped over her head. The dupattas, like the lehenga, had delicate but work and lace details. Chahat’s veil was also embellished with distinctive Sabyasachi kiran lace, which added stars to the elegance of her ensemble.

Chahat’s wedding was dreamy and strange in every way. Her affection for her pet, however, caused quite a commotion on the internet. The bride accessorized her ensemble with an exquisitely made kundan polki necklace with green drop beads. She accessorized with a matha patti, a nath, gold payal, statement rings, crimson chooda, kadhas, and golden kaleeras.

Chahat, the Sabyasachi bride, let her gown and jewelry shine. To balance her bridal appearance, she chose a modest nude base makeup. She finished off her look with a dewy base, reddened cheeks, glossy nude lipstick, shimmering eyeshadow, mascara-laden eyelashes, and highlighted cheeks. Her dreamlike look was topped off with a flower-adorned hairdo and a little stone bindi.
Rahul, on the other hand, complimented his bride in the finest way possible. He chose an ivory-hued sherwani and a matching embroidered doshala to let her shine on her big day. A stacked pearl necklace and a pagdi complemented the groom’s appearance.
