On the other hand, the actor is making news for his upcoming project and schedule of work, as fans can’t wait to see their idol back in action on film.
Shah Rukh Khan talks about plans for his next project
In a recent interview with Star Sports, Shah Rukh Khan discussed his next film project, as his fans eagerly await his return to the silver screen with something bigger and better. The actor mentioned that he had been busy with three back-to-back projects over the last year and that he needed some recuperation owing to the great physical labour he had put in. In his own words, “I had three releases last year. I just felt ki main thoda rest kar sakta hoon. Teen filmein kar chuka hoon, it took a lot of physical work also. So I said maybe I’ll take some time off.”

SRK talks about attending KKR’s matches frequently before starting his next shoot
Speaking along the same lines, Shah Rukh Khan added that he has told his team, KKR, that he will attend all of their matches, as most of his film shoots are currently slated for July-August 2024. Shah Rukh expressed his satisfaction at attending all of his team’s matches, saying, “I told the whole team ki, main matches ko aaunga. Fortunately, meri shooting ab August main hain, ya July… we plan in June, to June se shuru hojayegi. So, I am absolutely free to come to all the matches. Main khushi se aata hoon.”

On March 27, 2024, Shah Rukh Khan attended the Kolkata Knight Riders’ match against the Punjab Kings at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. The actor was joined by his little son, AbRam Khan, who couldn’t get enough of cheering for the team. In one of the images published by a fan page, AbRam was seen bouncing in delight at the strands and even blowing a whistle.

SRK delivered a motivational message to his squad after KKR lost a match
Previously, the Kolkata Knight Riders lost a match against the Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2024. While the squad was undoubtedly disheartened to watch the match slip through their fingers at the last minute, it was SRK who delivered an adorable speech in the locker room and rallied them. He said, “There are days in our lives, in sports, specially, when we don’t deserve to lose. And there are days also when we don’t deserve to win. But days are like that, which turns things around. Today, we didn’t deserve to lose. All of us played extremely well. We have to be very, very proud of ourselves. Please don’t feel sad or down. Feel as happy as we feel whenever we come to the changing room and we are on a high. So maintain the high.”
