On August 29, 2023, Shahid Kapoor dropped a series of glimpses on his Instagram handle. In the first two pictures, the handsome actor can be seen getting a turban tied. However, it was the third picture that caught our attention. In the priceless photo, Shahid can be seen posing happily with his father, Pankaj Kapur. Without any doubt, the father-son duo looked amazing together. Moreover, they can also be seen twinning in light yellow-hued turban.
In the last picture, Shahid can be seen posing dashingly for the camera. He looked dapper in a black-hued kurta and undoubtedly, the turban added stars to his look. Sharing the pictures, Shahid penned a cute caption and revealed how it was his father’s wish to him wearing a turban. In his words, “Dad always says ghar pe Shaadi hogi to pag paega na.”

Earlier, in an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Shahid had talked about his equation with his father. The actor had revealed he has carved his place in the industry all by himself. Mentioning how his journey in B-town has not been easy for him just, the actor said, “I’m one of those self-made guys who people think, because his papa was an actor, got it easier. And I get very upset about that, because I’m like, ‘hey guys, you don’t know my struggle’. Just because my father is Pankaj Kapur doesn’t mean I had it easy, because actually I didn’t even live with him. I lived with my mom. And he’s also a very proud man, he would never. And I was too proud to ask him for nay support ever. In fact, I never even brought it up with him, neither did he ask me. It just never came up.”
