The onus is on the boys side to welcome a girl and make her you know comfortable and not interfere too much because it is a new relationship.”

The gifted singer recounted the day her bahu told that her infant daughter, Raha Kapoor, spoke her first word as’mumma’. Neetu then explained how she gave Alia a mild admonition and said that her granddaughter also said ‘da-da’ rather than ‘na-na’. In her words, “So, I went the other day to the house and Alia says, ‘Oh, by the way, she said mumma. So, I said, she didn’t say mumma but she said mum-mum. So, don’t be so happy. But she’s saying ‘da-da’ and not ‘na-na,’ so I’m happy with that.”
