However, Shatrughan Sinha recently stated that they would all attend Sonakshi and Zaheer’s reception on June 23, 2024, leaving everyone puzzled about the couple’s exact wedding date. For the uninitiated, it was previously rumored that there could be a schism between Sonakshi and her family members, that the actress’ father may be unhappy with her wedding. Later, Shatrughan Sinha refuted it all. We also got some glances of the couple’s family gathering earlier today, and now a snapshot of their mehendi ceremony has leaked online.

Jafer Ali Munshi, one of Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s friends, took to Instagram to share a snapshot from the couple’s mehendi. The bride-to-be’s expression made us stop and stare. The actress looked lovely in a red and brown costume with gold embellishments. She kept her makeup light, and open hair and a bindi added stars to her style. Zaheer, on the other hand, looked dashing in a white-colored short kurta with pinkish flower designs throughout. In the photo, the pair is seen posing cheerfully with their friends and family members as they embark on a new chapter in their life.

Previously, we had some insider information from Sonakshi and Zaheer’s family gathering. One of the photographs showed Sonakshi posing with her parents, Shatrughan and Poonam, while another showed Zaheer posing with his soon-to-be sasur ji, Shatrughan Sinha. Furthermore, the joyful grins in these images demonstrated that all was fine between the pair and the actress’ family.

Previously, sources stated that Sonakshi and Zaheer would marry on June 23, 2024, at the South Mumbai restaurant Bastian. In a card that circulated in the media, the guests were encouraged to wear formal attire and to avoid the color red.

However, according to a recent Filmfare article, Sonakshi and Zaheer will marry in a registered wedding at Zaheer’s Mumbai apartment. In response to the media reports, Sonakshi’s father, Shatrughan Sinha, told Times Now that he and his wife, Poonam, will attend his daughter’s reception on June 23, 2024, and have a great time.
