The extravagant mehendi ceremony for Karan Sharma and Surbhi Chandna
Surbhi Chandna chose a boho-chic ensemble for her mehendi ceremony, which was held on March 1, 2024, to honour the occasion. She wore a choli with golden embroidery that was royal blue in shade and a green lehenga adorned with henna. She wore a dupatta pinned to one side and accessorised her ensemble with large chunky jewellery, such as a large nose ring, enormous chandbaalis, and kadas. According to Surbhi Chandna, she is marrying Karan Sharma for his name
Previously, Surbhi Chandna revealed stunning information in an interview with Bollywood Bubble: she had no interest in getting married. The actress clarified that her elaborate wedding was merely a name-check and that a judicial marriage would enough for her. According to her, “That’s why I kept it very intimate. Yes, there’s no such thing as an ‘intimate wedding’ in Punjabi but I’m doing a very short two-day affair. For me, work comes first and he understands that. I have told the makers that I’ll come to every promotion, function, parties amidst the wedding. I’m very brutally honest about this that for me work comes first and he totally understands that. Plus, we have been together for 13 years which is practically being married. It’s just that we’re doing a ceremony for namesake and that’s about it. I’m excited about it, I hope so because it has not kicked in yet. I think it will kick in once I see myself in mangalsutra and sindoor and be like ‘Oh my god, I’m married.”
Karan and Surbhi, congratulations!
