Nothing quite compares to the thrilling experience of moving at extremely high speeds in a racing game, but because video game consoles have advanced so much over the years, there are now a lot of racing games available for both handheld devices and home consoles. While Nintendo has a history of concentrating mostly on its own first-party games, during the course of the Switch’s existence, they have gradually begun to permit more developers to port their games over to this fantastic system, allowing a far larger audience to play them.

Cruis’n Blast is one of the most outrageous racing games ever created. It combines race cars, dinosaurs, and brilliant neon lights into one colourful package. It’s difficult to think of a more outrageous racing game. With its easy controls and clear customization possibilities, Cruis’n Blast is the epitome of pick-up and play, making it available to just about anyone looking for an exhilarating racing game that doesn’t require any prior knowledge.
6.Team Sonic Racing
While the Sonic All-Stars Racing titles did not end up coming to the Switch, Team Sonic Racing’s announcement that it will be coming to the console in 2019 nevertheless came as a nice surprise to fans. The team-based gameplay features really set this exhilarating racer apart from the competition, even though the game’s visuals look fantastic on the Switch.
For instance, when driving, players can create a slipstream that will increase the pace of their buddy, and there are even brief communication prompts between each character that inform the team of their current place in the race. When this faithful remake of the beloved Crash Team Racing game was released, both fans and critics reacted favourably to it. This was largely because the game successfully captured the chaotic nature of the memorable and original characters while also including a tonne of new features to keep the gameplay interesting. A new Ring Rally Challenge Mode, longer Adventure Mode, and customizable karts are all nice features that will keep the player busy for a long time.
Additionally, it should be noted that Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled isn’t nearly as liberal with its items as other kart racing games, so players won’t be bailed out if they are behind in a race. This increases the challenge, but it also makes the game feel much more skill-based and extremely rewarding when players manage to secure that first-place position
3.Need For Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered
Need for Speed Hot Pursuit has already established itself as one of the most recognisable arcade races in gaming history, so all the remaster needed to do was give this well-known classic a new coat of paint. Hot Pursuit still offers some of the most responsive and fun controls of any racing game, allowing the player to drift through turns while still maintaining speed, making for some seriously thrilling races even after all these years.The game offers a vast overworld where players can select to play as either a street racer or a cop in some suspenseful pursuit scenes in addition to the traditional racing. The game’s simplicity in customising and controls makes it simple to learn, but there are also a tonne of difficulties and a mind-boggling 48 cop missions to accomplish, which adds to its appeal. The ability to play Need for Speed Hot Pursuit wherever while on the go makes it simple to jump into for an occasional fast pursuit. The game is still as entertaining as it was when it first released in 2010.

Mario Kart 8 features an abundance of weird and whacky items which can help anyone get back into the race, making the game very casual and easy-going. However, the deeper mechanics that come with the drifting still ensure there’s a good amount to learn too, for those who want to spend a good amount of time perfecting the game. This also goes for time trials which provide a grueling challenge for those players who are confident enough to take them on. Considering Nintendo are still committed to adding new maps to this game, it’s never a bad time to burn some rubber and enjoy the thrill of racing in Mario Kart 8.
