The final of the five series Sports Quiz organised by The Hindu Future India Club (FIC), a The Hindu Group and Odisha Mining Corporation will be held in Rourkela on Monday
FIC-OMC Sports Quiz
Up until now, Bhubaneshwar, Cuttack, Berhampur, and Sambalpur have hosted Hindu FIC and OMC sports quizzes. The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela’s Bhubaneswar Behera Auditorium will serve as the location for the final event.
This test is given in English and has two levels: junior and senior. Students in grades 5-8 are classified as juniors, while those in grades 9–12 as seniors. Senior category participants must arrive at the location by 1 p.m., while junior category participants must arrive by 9 a.m.
This test is free to take and open to all students in schools in Odisha. Schools will need to use an online form to shortlist children for participation and register names: https://forms.office.com/r/yL4EPU7HZ9
A team will consist of two pupils from the same category and campus of the school. Each school is allowed a maximum of 10 teams each category, for a total of 20 teams that can compete.
The test will be administered in two rounds: a pen-and-paper first round and an on-stage final round. In the final round, which will take place right after the preliminary round, the top six teams in each category will contend for the top three awards. The awarding of prizes will take place at the location that same day.
