Meanwhile, Mahmood Ahmad, Managing Director of the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL), reports that 44 meters of vertical drilling have been completed out of the required 86. He stated that vertical drilling has been temporarily halted and that all possibilities for the rescue effort have been implemented.
