Certain actions have unpleasant repercussions at home. So how do we decide what needs to be saved and what has to be discarded? Here is a list of things that, unless someone wants to bring bad luck, should never be kept at home.
Vastu Advice: Items to Remove from the Home
1.Thorny Plants – It is never a good idea to keep or plant cactus or other thorny plants inside a house. All other thorny plants should be removed, with the exception of Rose, as they are said to bring unfavorable energies.
2.Broken Mirrors, Glasses, and Idols – Avoid keeping broken mirrors, broken glasses, or god and goddess idols in your home since they might cause financial trouble and affect your mental health.
3.The Nataraja idol of Lord Shiva – is kept at some followers’ houses or the studios of classical dancers. Nataraja is a picture of this wonderful art form as well as a picture of destruction. This is as a result of the dance’s nature as a Tandav dance, also referred to as a dance of destruction. Therefore, it is never recommended to keep the painting or other decorative item that features Natraja within the house.

4.Water Fountain – Some homeowners have an eye-catching water fountain. Vastu, however, cautions against keeping anything that represents the flowing spirit of anything in storage. This foretells that the money and prosperity you experience won’t last for very long and will eventually disappear from your life.
5.Negative or disturbing photo frames – You shouldn’t keep photos of a tree without flowers or fruit, a sinking ship or boat, sword fights, hunting, the image of Indrajal (magic), imprisoned elephants, or images of downcast and sobbing individuals in your home since they bring bad luck. Additionally, people shouldn’t display combat scenes from the Ramayana and Mahabharata in their houses. These pictures depict family members fighting.
6.Taj Mahal Photograph or Miniature Statue – It is not advised to keep any Taj Mahal artifacts, not even a photograph. It is a mausoleum and a symbol of apathy and demise. People still view it as a gesture of love even though it is actually the grave of Shah Jahan’s wife Mumtaz Begum. This serves as an explanation for not having any artwork or photographs of the Taj Mahal on display in a person’s home. These things are believed to have a significant and profound influence on our life.
7.Paintings And Idols Of Animals – Avoid images of pigs, snakes, donkeys, owls, bats, vultures, pigeons, and crows as well as other animals and birds. Paintings and idols of animals should also be avoided. No wild animal photograph or artifact from a wild animal should be kept inside the house since they depict the wildness of nature. Residents of a residence behave violently as a result.
