In the Ministry of Vishnu Deo Sai, Vijay Sharma, an Indian politician, serves alongside Arun Sao as the Deputy Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh.
Vijay Sharma represents the Kawardha Assembly constituency as a member of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly. He was the President of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha in Chattisgarh before becoming the General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party in that state.
Education of Vijay Sharma
Sharma graduated with honours from Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University in Raipur in 1996 as a Master of Science student in Physics, and from Madhya Pradesh Bhoj Open University in Bhopal in 2001 as a Master of Computer Applications student.

Sharma, a Bharatiya Janata Party candidate, defeated incumbent Cabinet Minister Mohammad Akbar of the Indian National Congress in the 2023 Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly election by a margin of 39,592 votes.
Along with Arun Sao, Sharma was named as the Deputy Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh in the Ministry of Vishnu Deo Sai on December 3rd, 2023. In the Government of Chhattisgarh, he was also in charge of Home and Jail, Panchayat and Rural Development, Technical Education and Employment, Science, and Technology.
