Manu Bhaker is from Haryana. Her father is a chief engineer in the Merchant Navy, and her mother was an educator. She began practicing with her coach in 2016 for junior global tournaments and earned silver at the 2017 Asian Junior Championships. The next year, she won nine gold medals at the national games. She earned team gold for India in the women’s 25m pistol event at the 2022 Asian Games. She recently earned two bronze medals at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
