Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh married in 2018, and on the second day of Ganesh Chaturthi, they welcomed a baby girl. While everyone was waiting for the new parents to reveal their baby girl and announce her name, they did so on the auspicious occasion of Diwali. Deepika and Ranveer named their baby Dua, and we couldn’t stop smiling when we saw the post. Deepika has recently revealed how her newborn’s antics make her heart burst.

Deepika Padukone recently reposted a video about infants on her Instagram. The video’s subject was how these young newborns’ antics make their mothers’ hearts burst, as well as everyone else’s. According to the movie, the way babies clutch someone’s finger with their entire hand, sleep with their mouths wide open, stretch upon waking up, and suck on everything when hungry may all melt one’s heart, something we cannot dispute.

Aside from that, the way babies scrunch, sleep with their arms above their heads, lie on someone’s belly all wrinkled up, and sleep through anything and everything may break one’s heart, and Deepika is no exception. As a result, she took to Instagram and uploaded the photo, tagging her husband, Ranveer, implying that the new parents are in awe of their Dua’s aura.

Deepika and Ranveer shared their daughter’s first photo in a collaborative post on November 1, 2024. The photo revealed the little one’s teeny small feet, which were dressed in a crimson Anarkali with lovely golden flower design all over. Deepika shared the photo, revealing that their daughter’s name is Dua, which means ‘Prayer’. The actress added that her daughter is the answer to all of her and Ranveer’s prayers, hence the unique and wonderful name.

Ranveer Singh graced the trailer releasing event for Singham Again on October 7, 2024, but his wife Deepika was unable to attend. For the uninitiated, the husband and wife team appear in the film, along with their soon-to-be-born child, as the actress was pregnant when filming. At the ceremony, Ranveer referred to his daughter as Baby Simmba. The actor also stated that Deepika couldn’t attend because she was at home with their daughter, and his baby chores are at night.
